My story

Thanks for dropping by and wanting to learn a little more about my work and me.

I’m Ana Cavalheiro. I’m the designer and the jeweler creating every piece of jewelry under my brand name. I started my career in finance, which lead me to live in many different countries accross Europe. While living in Paris I decided to change my path and embarked in a full time 2 year goldsmith course at the French Jewelry Guild (BJO -“Union Française de la Bijouterie, de la Joaillerie, de l’Orfèvrerie”) learning from master jewelers that worked at the Place Vendome jewelry houses. Shortly after that I moved to Los Angeles, USA and started my own namesake brand.

While living in Los Angeles I established relationships with suppliers that I keep up to this day. Over the years my jewelry has evolved to include only recycled precious metals, custom cut and ethically sourced gemstones and diamonds.

I’m currently based in Charlottesville, VA where I have my jewelry atelier and base my operations. And even tough I have local clients I work with clients around the country and internationally via Zoom, Skype, Facetime, WhatsApp or email.

More than a 15 years later after this change of heart and career path, I have to say that I find way more happiness in challenging myself to develop a piece of jewelry truly unique and personal to my clients.

For me, the process of jewelry making is a meticulous one, where special details are embedded in the piece to tell the wearer their personal, intimate story. My designs range from fine, delicate pieces to bold, sculptural jewelry. Keeping an open mind and willingness to listen to my clients’ dreams and desires keeps the design process interesting and challenging.

After more than 15 years working on custom pieces I can honestly say that the secret reward of working on special commissions with private clients is toknow that my creations will be cherished and destined to be passed down to generations to come.
