Terms and Conditions

Please refer to this page frequently to review our current terms and conditions of use.

Custom and Unique Variations

Each piece is hand fabricated to order in our Charlottesville studio. Results may vary slightly from the picture shown due to the nature of unique variations within handmade work and natural diamonds and gemstones. If you feel that an item you have received is not what was requested, please let us know within 7 days of delivery.

Responsibility

We are committed to producing fine jewelry in the most ethically, environmentally, and socially responsible manner possible. We take pride in our studio's dedication to green production methods and water conservation. We recycle raw materials and consciously minimize what few chemicals we use.

Diamonds & Other Gemstones

We hand-select our diamond sources and other gemstone sources and work only with companies that we feel align with our values. We work with a gem cutter for most of our bigger gemstones that need to be cut to size on some of our designs. We also custom cut gemstones for special one of a kind projects.

Precious Metals

We use recycled 14k and 18K gold alloys. We work in yellow, white, red, green and rose gold. We also use a de-ox sterling silver which is hypoallergenic. The copper that is traditionally used in the sterling silver alloy is replaced by argentium, and this makes this de-ox SS alloy less prone to a fast oxidization. If you would like to request a custom alloy please contact the ACFJ studio.

Sizing

Please provide us with correct sizing with your order. If your size doesn't appear on our drop-down order list, you may email or call us with your special order. If you have ordered an incorrect size we would be happy to make adjustments for a nominal fee, plus the cost shipping.

Custom orders

We encourage custom orders and would love to work with you on your special project. A 50% deposit is required before the commencement of a custom order. Prior to shipment of work we will request a final payment, which can be made by cash, check, or credit card. All designs and rights are owned by Ana Cavalheiro Fine Jewelry.
